The start of another week!

Sophie, bizarrely, was back at uni today after having two weeks off, despite the fact that it's Easter at the end of this week... Anyway, we dropped her off, popped to Aldi and then went for our appointment at the bank as Keith wanted a second credit card. The woman who saw us used to use the Nursery we ran for her daughter who is now friends with Mike (and the same age), so we chatted about how fast time flies and what they were doing now.

Back home I had a quick bite to eat and then Keith and I worked on next door's garden which had been neglected by the tenants over the winter and needed weeding very badly! Today has been much cooler and cloudier but I didn't mind as it was hard work and if it had been too hot it would have been a bit unpleasant. Monty accompanied us and the robin made an appearance as well, no doubt on the hunt for worms! I cleared a lot of weeds from the gravel outside the window and generally tidied everything up while Keith cut the grass. I managed to sweep the path leading to the back garden and was very pleased when we'd finished for the day. I will do the back garden with Keith on Thursday afternoon.

We went to pick Soph up and drove to the Weston Favell Centre as I needed to get some bits in Tesco and Sophie had to go to the bank. It was great to finally get home after all the toing and froing and look forward to Keith's Shepherd's Pie for dinner!
