Mrs Grumpy

I have mostly been in a bad mood today, due to work. Tomorrow, I have to answer the phones and work from 10:00am until 4:00pm, as the empty shifts are no longer being covered, because of how quiet we are. I was fully expecting it, to be honest, but how I'm expected to look after the customer service emails, put on the children's activities, train Bob and put the summer holiday playscheme places onto the system, I'll never know. It means I will now be answering the phones on Monday and may even lose my six hours on Thursday. It's not just affecting me, either. As I will never find a parking space at 9:30am, Keith will have to drive me to work, thereby disrupting his day!

I mooched about the house all day, feeling grumpy, and did some jobs that needed doing, as well as catching up with the blog, as I was way behind! Keith went shopping, and in the afternoon I went to see Mum. She wasn't feeling very cheerful when I arrived, and asked if I'd seen my Dad. Never a good start!

We chatted for over an hour, and then I made my way home, where Keith made me a much-needed cup of tea. Sophie arrived home and said she had a headache, so we were all a bit subdued this evening. I cooked delicious beefburgers for dinner, accompanied by potato wedges and salad, and then Keith and I settled down to watch another episode of Panda. Honestly, I would love to run away and drive down to Occitanie, where the series is filmed. You have to have dreams!
