Little annoyances!

Tuesday seems to be a day when lots of people gather in our office and make a lot of noise! As we have six centres in Northampton, as well as a head office, why can't they all bugger off there?!

Today wasn't as busy as yesterday, thank goodness, but we had our fair share of strange phone calls which were frustrating. I took a call at 3:51 from a man who wanted to sign up his son for a membership, so I was out late, which was annoying but it does happen from time to time. He spoke with a heavy French accent, which didn't help!

Back home I hoovered downstairs, and when Sophie returned home we sat at the kitchen island having a good chat. She applied for a job ages ago in London and they contacted her today asking her to go for an interview... why leave it so long? She's in two minds about whether to go (it's on our wedding anniversary) but I urged her to attend as it's all good experience and she has nothing to lose.

Dinner was a delicious barbecue this evening with marinated pork steaks, sausages, new potatoes and salad. It was very windy in the garden and the gas nearly went out while Keith was cooking. It was a warm, humid breeze and we had overcast skies to make it even more sultry!
