Today Keith and I tackled a long overdue job - cleaning the conservatory roof. It was the perfect weather being very warm, dry and sunny and although it was hard work, we were really pleased that we'd done it afterwards. There was some sort of green algae on the white struts and it looked horrible so seeing everything lovely and white again was great.
Mikey was at a First Aid training course all day and he passed first time which was brilliant! It must have been hot for him, though, as he was dressed in his full army uniform to do it!
In the evening we went out for a drink with Sarah and Liam to the Olde England. The men had a great time choosing and sampling all the different beers on offer while Sarah tried a couple of ciders. I stuck to sparkling water as I was driving and we had a lovely evening chatting about our respective kids and all the things they get up to!
