Monday has been a bit manic, to be honest, with lots of people in and out of work, and loads of things to be squeezed into one day. Mum and Dad had hired an industrial scrubber-dryer to clean the floor and Keith came in to strim all the verges in the car park which were long and scruffy. He kept having problems with the strimmer and the scrubber wasn't doing as good a job as it was supposed to...
As well as the little niggles, it was very, very hot (29c) which made us all melt. Mum and I gave the floor two coats of polish and then it was off to the gym for Soph and me, and a workout before a lovely cool swim!
