Today has been another cloudy cool day, perfect for doing some research on my family tree in between taking Sophie to work and picking her up.
We did manage to squeeze in a swim later in the day (well, I swam, Sophie talked) before going home and sitting in the garden with a drink as the clouds had given way to warm sunshine. My children are officially on school holidays now, even though a lot of other kids still have two days to go. I can hardly believe that the summer holidays are here already - it only seems like a few weeks since the start of the year! Before we know it, the dreaded "C" word will rear its ugly head!
