Son of leek!

Yesterday we made a wonderful discovery...we knew that our "leek" had been revived, but yesterday Keith spotted son of leek growing next to it! This plant is not really a leek, but a Cordyline Australis and we really thought it was dead after the very cold winter we had. Rather than pull it up we just let the roots stay in the pot and hoped that there was a little bit of life left...which there was!
