Down to Kent.

It was time to go and see Nan again today and to be honest it was good to get a break from work. After taking her out to lunch we went on the hunt for recliner chairs so she can enjoy the lovely gardens she has. We trekked around Homebase and B&Q and finally went to a local garden centre that was charging astronomical prices, although I did see a lovely outside bar - a snip at £1250!

By now Nan was pretty tired, so we returned to the flat for a much-needed cup of tea. The weather in Kent was sultry and stormy but we heard it'd been raining back in Northampton. The gardens certainly need it!

We managed to avoid the rain completely but the journey home was hard work, with some drivers behaving dangerously by "undertaking" and dodging in and out of the heavy traffic, making other drivers brake sharply. Then to cap it all, just ten miles from home, a Polish driver nearly wiped us out by pulling over into the lane I was in, with no indication or reason why! Grrrrr!
