I dragged myself downstairs, made myself a coffee and began to feel human! Keith didn't drive me today, so I left at spot on 7:00am in the hope I wouldn't have trouble parking today. Which, thankfully, I didn't. In the office, Sara and I had a chat about what had been going on at work (not a lot) and how it had turned quieter.
I dealt with all the emails during my shift and sped off to Kettering at 2:00pm to see Mum. I still had a lot to do at home, so I wanted to be home by 3.30pm at the latest. Mum was surprised to see me as she thought I was still in France, and really, I needn't have told her as our visit to Paris didn't interrupt our weekly routine. I am hesitant to tell her about Vienna in two weeks, and then Berlin two weeks after that.
Back at home, I tackled the usual chores, and then it was time to relax in the kitchen with Keith and Sophie before dinner of cottage pie. I was glad to see there was enough left for my lunch at work tomorrow.
We watched another episode of MasterChef after dinner, and we're keeping a tally of the culinary terms as usual!
