A perfect drying day!

I had a fabulous night's sleep, back in my own bed, and waved Sophie off to work at 8:00am. I had a busy day ahead of me, sorting out the laundry and writing the blog. What a pleasant prospect that was!

Keith went to Tesco to do the shopping for the next couple of days, while I pootled about. I was glad it was a beautiful day as I was able to get all the washing out on the line and dried in the breezy sunshine. While we were away, Keith had cut the grass, so the garden looked a lot neater. I still have so much to do out there and need to put some grass seed down when we have rain forecast. This lovely sunny and dry weather is due to break at the weekend... typical, as it's a Bank Holiday!

The day sped past, and I did as much as I could before Sophie came home. I had to admit to a little groan when I prepared my porridge and lunch for work tomorrow, but needs must! Keith cooked a delicious hot curry for dinner tonight, and after eating, we watched Tuesday's episode of MasterChef. We are liking the duo of Grace Kent and Anna Haugh very much. They don't pull any punches!
