Itchy fingers...

Sophie woke this morning with her hands on fire - they were red and itchy and she was feeling a bit low as she hadn't slept well at all. She didn't go to the gym but sat in the living room with a coffee and her hands in a bowl of cold water. Luckily, she was able to sort out an appointment for later today to get the varnish removed. We watched a recorded episode of Saturday Morning Kitchen which, on reflection, wasn't a good idea first thing on a Monday!

Keith took me to work and I had a pleasant shift. It was a lot quieter, but I named today Moany Monday as we had a few annoying emails in the inbox to deal with! However, I dealt with them all and finished the Moan Report. I'll be writing it again next week when it's March!

Sophie left work at 3pm, went to Boots on Riverside and then to her appointment in Moulton to get her nails sorted out. She was very unhappy when she arrived home, having spent £50 for nothing. She'd bought two bottles of nail polish in Boots and sat with us at the island painting her nails while Keith and I played cards.

Dinner tonight was a very easy cold meats, new potatoes and salad meal. The weather today has been lovely and Spring-like and I'm hoping this will last into Wednesday as I desperately want to get into the garage and garden and tidy up!

Keith and I watched Only Connect and University Challenge this evening and I was blown away by how hard the questions were! We only answered three or four, which was a bit humbling!
