A long day

Sophie woke me slightly later than normal because of our late night, and we sat and had a coffee while watching Come Dine With Me. Keith took me to work and did the shopping, and I had a busy shift helping out with the phones for half an hour and clearing all the emails.

At 2pm, Keith collected me and I dropped him at home before going to get my Mum to take her back to Northampton for her nail appointment. I would loved to have just gone home and vegetated for the afternoon, but at least I could sit and read my book while she was being seen to.

We had a quick stop at the Co-op in Moulton to get her a couple of essentials, and then I took her back to the care home. I was mightily relieved when I arrived home myself and could tackle the usual evening jobs before relaxing with Keith and playing cards.

Keith and I had decided on nachos served with chicken for dinner and Sophie said she would take charge. The result was delicious!
