I only had the morning at work as I was going to a meeting in the afternoon at one of our centres, and getting a lift with Sheila. She was late to work because her husband was ill, so it's been a worrying time for us! I had another lift lined up but I hated being without a car! I do miss my Audi!
The morning passed swiftly and at 12.30pm we left to go to another site. The meeting was in the Dance Studio and it was freezing! Plus, there were mirrors everywhere! Yuk! The meeting was informative and we had to take part in two games, but by about 2.30pm we were finished and Sheila and I returned to the office, which was lovely and warm. For once, I appreciated it!
The rest of the afternoon passed pleasantly and Keith collected me at 4pm to go home. He said he still felt a little light-headed but no longer nauseous. We do not want any sickness this week, thank you very much!
We sat in the kitchen before dinner and played cards and chatted about our days. The recycled curry was delicious and we used the rice and vegetables from the biryani as the basis for the meal. After we'd eaten, Sophie and I shared another whisky while watching University Challenge.
December 16th: Widow Jane (ooh...) Rye Mash Oak and Apple Wood-Aged (Bourbon) Batch 59 at 45.5%.
This smelt and tasted like coconuts (think coconut milkshake) and vanilla. 4/5
It was a lovely end to a good day!
