We spent some time in the afternoon planning a short break. Sophie had arrived home from work the other evening feeling fed up and said she wanted some sun, so we looked at various options, including the Eurostar to the south of France, Seville, Lisbon or even Cyprus.
Keith wasn't keen on going, and we picked out some dates that clashed with Cheltenham, so he definitely wouldn't have been interested! We said we'd check holidays at work on Monday and go from there, but it was exciting to be talking about going somewhere for a few days!
Later in the afternoon, we had a pampering session, with Sophie painting my nails, and we each had a chocolate face pack. It smelt good enough to eat! It's been ages since we've done this and it was lovely to relax and watch Four In A Bed on the television.
We played Scrabble with wine in the evening and I narrowly beat Sophie after a long interval! Dinner tonight was a chicken and mushroom pie cooked by Keith and then it was an episode of Arctic Circle, which is becoming a little confusing!
