Work niggles

Work was fine this morning but in the afternoon things went a little pear-shaped and we had several complicated emails, an angry customer on the phone, and problems with raising orders for my cinema figures!

It was great to escape at 4pm and head home, knowing that Monday was over. Before we know it, it'll be Friday again!

I'm now into Come Dine With Me, showing on Channel 4 at 6pm. We watch the news headlines and then turn over, laughing at what the contestants get up to. I have fond memories of them coming to our soft play centre years ago to film someone taking part, an American woman who was very abrasive! I'd love to see that episode again!

Tonight, we had the beef stroganoff we should have had on Saturday night! Sophie cooked and it was gorgeous with enough left for our lunches tomorrow. After we'd eaten, we caught up with Arctic Circle, a Nordic Noir set in a snowy Finland. It's a worthy successor to True Detective!
