I wasn't answering phones today and dealt with the customer service emails and orders. The time flew by and Sopihe contacted me at just after 4pm to say that the GP had called her earlier than expected and she'd missed the call! The doctor did call back, though, and said she wouldn't need to see someone in person. She'd had a good day at work and hadn't needed to use her inhaler, so let's hope she's on the mend!
I was glad she was feeling better as she cooked dinner tonight, the biryani we should have had last night! Everything was prepared, so she had to cook the new potatoes and chicken (Vikesh's Mum puts chips in sometimes!) and then add rice to the vegetables and meat and cook it through. While she was beavering away at the stove, Keith and I played cards, and then I helped her with the last of the cooking. It was delicious, and there was enough left over for lunch tomorrow.
We caught up with I'm a Celebrity after dinner as both Sophie and I wanted to see how Grace Dent managed the first challenge last night. We're both fans of the food critic, having seen her in Henley-on-Thames a couple of years ago. We also like Fred Sirieix so it'll be interesting to see how they survive the jungle!
