Her chest was feeling tight again today, and she'd had to use her inhaler a couple of times, which was worrying. I said that maybe she'd need another course of antibiotics and she promised to call the doctor tomorrow. She is now fed up with this and misses her runs at the gym.
We pootled about this morning, and in the afternoon popped over to see Mum and Dad and took them their ornaments. We didn't stay long and I arranged to take Mum out next Wednesday for a cup of tea and to do some shopping.
On the way home we popped into the nearby Co-op to try and get some Chinese accompaniments but they had none and Sophie was spooked by a couple of men shopping, so we beat a hasty retreat! From there we drove to Mawsley and I bought a couple of boxes of tempura battered chicken. That will have to do with some more rice! We took the scenic route home but the weather wasn't great today and it was a typical gloomy November day!
We were able to relax when we arrived back, and we sat in the kitchen chatting over a cup of tea and some of the biscuits Keith had bought. Rather than play cards or Scrabble this evening we sat and watched Bridget Jones' Diary which was excellent and perfect for a Sunday evening and a glass of wine!
Sophie cooked dinner and stir-fried the noodles from last night, adding the rice we'd cooked, soy sauce and sweet chilli sauce to the mix. As with last night, it was delicious!
After dinner, our viewing choice was a programme comparing Aldi and Harrods... I was pleased to see that Aldi's Champagne (our favourite) beat the one from Harrods! However, that means that the shelves will be emptied!
