I was up early with Sophie and saw her off to the gym before going back to bed. I think I dozed off for about five minutes then woke up again so I decided to abandon any more sleep and head downstairs for a coffee!
It was a beautiful morning and mist had arrived from nowhere, as it was clear when Sophie left for work at 6am. After a coffee and a shower, Keith and I headed over to Kettering to Tesco where we indulged in a light breakfast in Costa before hitting the aisles.
On the way home we popped to see Mum and Dad for another coffee, and as soon as we returned home and unpacked our shopping, we went straight back out again! We needed to go to Jones's as Keith wanted to look at mugs - his giant one had broken in the dishwasher - but there were none he liked so after buying a few bits and bobs (I managed to avoid buying more decorations and lights) we left to pick up Sophie from work and take her out for a quick lunch.
We went to Costa again and Keith and I enjoyed a sausage roll while Sophie had a mushy veggie concoction. We just had time to pop into Wilco's to look for Advent Calendars for Mike before it was time to return Sophie to work.
Later in the afternoon we ventured out again to take Sophie's parcel to a UPS drop-off point and then it was finally home to relax. The weather has been beautiful today and the sky driving home was gorgeous!
