Well, yesterday was great but it was back to normal today at work with a few stresses to round off the week. The threatened wet weather arrived and by the evening it was pouring with rain...at least the gardens need it!
After work Sophie and I went off to the gym along with Sophie's friend, Abi. The girls didn't really do a lot but I managed 30 minutes of exercise before I relaxed in the spa downstairs. Sophie wanted to spend the evening at Abi's house so I dropped them off and drove home to prepare dinner before going to pick Keith up from his usual evening at the pub (again!).
It was nice to sit and chat to Mikey over dinner as he certainly talks to us more when his loud sister isn't around! This weekend we have promised to go and see if we can find him a new bed as his is in a really sorry state (his fault - he jumped off his wardrobe onto it!). He's hinting at a double bed so we might have to dig deep into our pockets!
