Mikey told us today that he had to go to the Barracks in town for his Army Cadet meeting so Keith and I hatched a plan of going to a nearby pub that specialised in real ale, rather then drive all the way back home. I was really looking forward to going out somewhere different and maybe having a bar snack so when I got home and Mikey said that the meeting was at the usual place I felt very flat!
There was no reason why we couldn't have stuck with our original plans but we decided to leave the pub until another evening and spent the night at home instead! Oh well!
