Coconut Head...

It's been another busy day with the rain this morning bringing customers into work. We spent most of the day in the gym area that we're trying to rent out. We've neglected it a bit so we armed ourselves with brooms, mops and the hoover to go and tidy it up before we had a viewing at 11am.

The weather today has been warm and muggy and it was hot work cleaning up. The person coming to view the space was a man who has plans to make it into a fitness gym and also teach kick-boxing and martial arts. We all agreed it would be perfect for that so we have high hopes that he'll decide to move in and be our new tenant.

Keith brought both children into work and then took Mikey for a hair-cut. His hair was so long he could barely see out of his eyes so it was a bit of a shock when they called in on the way home to see his hair a good bit shorter! Unfortunately, Mikey wasn't keen and kept saying he looked like a "Coconut Head"! At least he's developing a sense of humour!

Back home I jumped in the bath as I felt really grimy and sweaty and had a long soak before falling asleep on the bed while Keith watched the cricket. It was bliss! Even more relaxing was sitting in the garden after dinner with a glass of wine and watching out for bats. As the sun disappears they normally come out and flit about in the garden, but we haven't seen them for a while. However tonight we did. We had a lovely conversation about past holidays and Mikey joined us in our reminisces, surprising me by remembering more than I thought he would. With the warm evening air, the wine and candles flickering we felt like we were on holiday in our own home!

Thanks, sws! Keith was in a happy dream about the square in Pollensa...which reminds me, I must put some lines on the Euromillions this week! I won £7 last Friday - not quite enough for two weeks in PP!
