Paint Job

Well, most of Sophie's bedroom has been painted and it looks so much better! There were a lot of scribblings (height marks of the children and their friends) and previous paint samples which all had to be erased before we starting painting properly. We finished the emulsioning at around 1pm, had lunch in the garden and then I ironed Sophie's new curtains so Keith could hang them. It was still warm today but not as hot as previous days and we had all the windows open and the fan on to cool us down. Tomorrow I will gloss the woodwork and put Sophie's new bedding on, so hopefully it will start to look as she imagined it! We then have to buy a new headboard for her bed, a mirror and maybe some new drawers!
