Mrs Grumpy!

Keith took me to work this morning as he had to go shopping in Tesco. Gone are the days when we'd do a big shop on the Thursday to last all week! It is a real effort to come up with different meals every day so we just limit it to Thursday, Friday and the weekend...phew!

There were three of us working this morning which was good as it's half term next week, so a lot of parents were booking holiday activities for their children. However, one of the women still managed to be late, not arriving until after 8am when the calls were coming thick and fast!

Mid-morning we all had to go to a meeting to find out how the company was going and this lasted until almost 12pm. Poor Sara was answering phones on her own but had done really well, with no abandoned ones! I think she was happy to see us back!

Keith picked me up at 2pm and confessed that he'd forgotten to buy a newspaper this morning when he went shopping...I suggested the small newsagent in the Weston Favell Centre but they had run out so we had to pop into Tesco...I was not happy as all I wanted to do was go home! I turned into Mrs Grumpy but then immediately felt guilty about being so worked up - there are far worse things going on in the world!

Back home we were met by Mike who has a bad cold (or lung inflation as he calls it). He moped around the house feeling sorry for himself but managing to eat everything in the fridge and cupboards...hmmm!
