This afternoon Sophie and I went to Market Harborough as we hadn't been for a while and we both fancied escaping for a bit!
It's been very mild today with temperatures getting up to 13c, but there wasn't a lot of sun about. We parked the car and had a coffee in Costa before having a look around the shops. Sophie bought some Spring outfits in New Look and we had a mooch about the "interior design" shops, of which there are many in the town! We bought a heart in Monsoon and this year we seem to be going for slightly "blingy" styles!
The town was busy for a Monday and we spent a very pleasant couple of hours wandering around, finishing up with an ice-cream sundae in Gallone's, which was totally empty. I expect that now the children have returned after half-term, an ice-cream parlour would be empty during the day!
Back home we played cards in the evening, but without a glass of wine, so it was a much more subdued affair!
