A sociable day!

There's definitely been a hint of Spring about in the air today and this morning the weather was lovely - sunny and mild with just a light breeze.

Keith and I dropped Sophie off at uni and then we went to do our shopping. Back home we put all our purchases away, made lunch and then took Mike to Brixworth. My parents came around to see us in the afternoon and we had a cup of tea and a good chat. Outside, the cloud had thickened a bit and when they left a bit later we had squally rain. How can things change so dramatically in the space of a few hours?!

Later in the evening Sophie and I went over to Sue's house for wine and nibbles. I'd bought two bottles of wine in Aldi - an Italian made from semi-dried grapes and an Australian Shiraz. Both were delicious. We had a lovely evening and feasted on olives, pate, cheese and crackers. Archie and Bailey hung around in the hope of getting some scraps! We had a good gossip and didn't leave until nearly 9pm!
