Mike wanted to get his hair cut this morning so after dropping Sophie off at work we returned home to pick him up and take him to the barber shop in Kettering. He went to wait while we drove to Tesco next door as we said we would wait for him in Costa Coffee.
Now, I like Costa but I didn't really want to sit in there for over an hour which is what we did while waiting for our son! In the end we walked back to the car and Keith strolled over to the barber's to see what was happening. Luckily he was being seen to!
When he was finished we drove back to Moulton to drop him off at Heather's and then it was finally home for some lunch. It felt like we'd wasted a whole morning!
We did very little for the rest of the day and then it was back out again in the evening to pick both our offspring up. It was lovely to get home, pour a glass of wine and look forward to a turkey dinner. It's not just for Christmas!
