I've just added a post about a trip I made to the Loire in 1999 to this blog. It's an account of a short break I enjoyed with my parents and Sophie when we visited the town of Chinon. Dad and I had given each other a row of vines as a Christmas present and we travelled down to the area to taste the wine and bring some home. Here is the link:
