Everything is (mostly!) packed, the house isn't in as much uproar as I imagined it would be and we're setting off at lunchtime for Gatwick airport.
I'm taking the laptop and I'm pretty sure our villa has wifi, so I will be updating every day. Tonight we're staying at the Premier Inn at Gatwick and our flight is tomorrow morning.
Hopefully, when I write this again we will be in hot and sunny Florida!
