Keith had already cleaned the oven, a job I hate, but he helped me clean all the beer glasses that we have on display on top of the cupboards and gave the canopy of the cooker a good scrub.
The room was long overdue a good clean and I was a bit ashamed of how things had become, to be honest! However, by 4pm everything gleamed and I felt very satisfied with all our hard work.
Neither of us set foot outside the door today and even though Keith suggested a drink at the pub, we decided in the end to stay at home and relax instead.
Our wine rack is looking a bit depleted! Time to stock up I think!
