We were busier at work today as we had a lunchtime party and the weather hasn't been good at all - wet, breezy but mild. At least we haven't had to put the heating on!
Mum and Dad went off at lunchtime to an auction as they'd put a beautiful table in for sale, with a reserve price of just £50. It was too nice a table to donate to a charity shop but they no longer wanted it so thought that it would be successful at auction. Just as they left hordes of customers arrived so I was kept busy manning Reception and running backwards and forwards to the kitchen to help wash up.
I also had one of our girls in to do an online Food Safety course so she was keeping my computer cmpany while I dashed about. Mum and Dad returned at 3pm to say that not one person had bid for the table so Keith and I might give it a home as our dining room table is a bit scratched and worn!
After work Sophie and I went to the gym but we just lazed about in the spa, which was a bit naughty of us! It had been a busy week so that was our excuse and we're sticking with it!
No sooner had we returned from the gym than it was time to take Mikey into Northampton to send him off on his weekend away. It was raining and blowing a gale so we really didn't envy him at all!
