I went back down to Luton tonight to pick up my parents who've been in Cyprus for a week. Both children wanted to come with me and I hadn't the heart to refuse, even though I knew we'd be home a bit late.
As it turned out we were about half an hour later than expected due to their baggage being delayed, so we had an hour's wait in the Arrivals hall. I've never been able to manage to get to the airport to pick someone up the minute they come through Arrivals and tonight was no exception! I could have left home when they landed and still have been on time!
