Today has been quiet and uneventful. I sorted out Mum and Dad's photograph albums, cleaned them up and took them to the care home in the early afternoon. They were delighted and my Dad immediately began to look through them and reminisce! I sat with them for about an hour and we all had a look through the photographs, and they brought back some happy memories. I returned home via the scenic route. The trees are changing colour now and the countryside looked beautiful in the afternoon sunshine.
Sophie and Vikesh arrived home and we opened a bottle of Champagne that Sophie had bought to celebrate his promotion at work. He was chuffed! We also shared a couple of squares of barfi while sipping the fizz. Delicious! They sat with the kitts in the conservatory and Vikesh was mobbed by the furries! Whenever you sit down you invariably get a cat sitting on you, and it's normally Gomey Gomez! We also call Mooney, Mooney Moon bums!

Keith cooked roast beef for dinner this evening but Sophie didn't eat with us - she was too full from her lovely lunch! The meal was delicious and all the better for not having had a roast much lately!
