An evening of feeling envious!

Today has been another busy day and I tackled some of the cancellation emails from yesterday. The time flew again and it was great to go home at 4pm and look forward to having a day off tomorrow.

The trees are looking beautiful at the moment and we have a really smoky aroma in the air. I don't know whether a neighbour had a log fire burning but it's very Autumnal!

Sophie and I indulged in an evening of food and travel programmes and watched an episode of Stanley Tucci in Italy hunting for white truffles and Bettany Hughes in France. Is it me or are these programmes just really indulgent for their presenters?! What a job to have!

Keith cooked a delicious Northern dish - Pan Haggerty - with corned beef, lots of potatoes and onions and served with crusty bread and vegetables. A lovely hearty dish for an Autumn night!
