I had a very wet and windy drive into work this morning as Storm Caroline is currently affecting the UK.
Work was quite busy so the time passed quickly. I picked up Sophie at 2pm and we drove home where I had a quick bite to eat before I was back out to after-school club. We managed to get the children out for half an hour again and the weather had changed quite dramatically. The rain and cloud had gone to be replaced with clear skies and a biting north wind. The forecasts are full of possible snow over the weekend so we'll see what happens!
I drove home, jumped into a hot bath that my lovely husband had run for me and enjoyed a whisky and ginger wine with a bowl of popcorn. Absolute bliss! My needs are simple!
