Pennies from Heaven...

It's been a manic, and not very pleasant, day at work as the weather has been truly horrible. The forecast rain arrived as we were driving into work and didn't let up all day, making hordes of customers arrive on our doorstep!

I'm not complaining, but we did have several issues that we could have done without! One little boy somehow banged his nose and then bled everywhere. The blood was in one of our ballponds so poor Polly had to get in there with her emergency container and try and clean as many as she could. While she was doing that I was on Reception and Sophie had to sit at the top of the slides to stop children going down into the ballpond.

While all this was going on (and customers were asking stupid questions) the frozen food order arrived. I knew I should have kept Keith on after we'd made an early trip to Booker! We also had to clear up piddle in the Tots area (Polly had to do this again) and we received complaints about the toilets...does it ever end? And there was us wanting to delay the completion so we could take advantage of the unsettled weather forecast for next week! We must be mad!
