Solar Eclipse!

This morning, at about 9.30am, the moon made a partial eclipse of the sun and it was amazing to behold! The last time I experienced any kind of eclipse was back in 1999 and I can remember taking all the children we had in our Nursery at the time outside to witness the phenomenon. All those children (including Sophie) would be between 17 and 20 now, so that's amazing in itself!

I took a photo of the trees in our car-park as it was happening - you can see how dark it is!

Inside the building we had to turn on the lights it was so dark! We had a few customers turn up and they stayed outside to have a look (not directly at the sun, though). It felt very strange to see the sky grow darker!
