Most of my working day today has been involved with sorting out staff for the Christmas holidays and placing an advert for a new cook as our current cook will be leaving in the New Year. I really wish, a lot of the time, that I could run a business that didn't involve employing a lot of staff!
We also went to Booker and bought all the staff gifts, which I always enjoy doing! It really feels like Christmas is very near now but I don't think the weather is going to be very festive, after all. The forecast is for rain and heavy winds over the next few days so it looks like we'll be having a grey Christmas rather than a white one!
