Domestic bliss!

This afternoon Keith had to go to the hospital for his pre-op assessment so I picked the children up from school, took them back to work with me, left Sophie there as she was doing a party for us and then went home with Mikey.

As Keith has been with me at work for most of the week I did some essential ironing which pleased him greatly when he got home from the hospital. It's going to be something I need to get used to again over the next couple of months as he will be out of action for six weeks when the operation is over, won't be able to drive and will be on crutches. Everything was fine in his assessment so we're all set for next week for the hip replacement and I can only hope that he will be pain free afterwards!
