After a busy day at work I managed to get home at just after 4pm so Sophie and I set out for the village for a short walk. It was very cold by now as the sun was sinking lower in the sky and as we entered the village I could smell the log fires. Bliss!
We walked into the village, up to the pub and then had a wander through the churchyard before returning the way we'd come. The sky turned a deep sapphire blue, cut through with pink vapour trails which Sophie managed to catch very successfully on her camera.
As usual I didn't have my camera with me, just my phone, but I don't think the photos are too bad!
