We managed a walk on Sunday morning even though I did feel slightly tired from the activities of Saturday night. We chose the same walk we did on Boxing Day and what a difference! Everything in leaf or in bloom and the fields a mass of yellow. The weather wasn't particularly good - it was windy, grey and the rain was thin and hard - but we enjoyed the fresh air, nonetheless, and Mikey accompanied us which was a bonus.
The afternoon was spent researching the family tree and staying firmly in the warm. The BBQ we planned went ahead but my vision of sitting in the garden with a cold drink as Keith cooked did not happen! Brrr!
