Which it did this morning, but it must have been early because the ground was wet when we woke up and although it was cloudy it still remained warm and sultry all day.
The little bit of rain (or maybe it was a lot, I don't know) brought a few customers in so we weren't completely deserted like we were last week. We had a shock visit from the Environmental Health, though, for our annual inspection but Dad dealt with them and apart from a few very minor things, everything was fine.
On the way home Soph and I called into the Beckworth Emporium to buy some salad as the stuff that Keith bought in Tesco over the weekend was tasteless. I'm hoping that the lettuce, peppers and red onion will have a lot more flavour. I also bought some strawberries and a pot of cream for dessert. Yum!

The rain hit us about 4am and it tipped it down for a good half hour. It was loud enough to wake us up.
Funnily enough I checked the weather forecast on the BBC website and they forecast rain for 4am...how accurate is that!
